This site is managed by St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Church (“SMCB”) and has been created to provide information about our church products and services. The SMCB policy is to respect and protect the privacy of our users. SMCB collect, use, disclose, transfer, store, retain or otherwise process your information, whether provided through the website, or acquired directly by any other means, and will be dealt with in accordance with the Law.


By continuing to browse and use this website you are accepting the terms and conditions of use, which govern the SMCB’s relationship with you. You can use the Site without providing any Personal Data.

We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information, such as when you fill the family registration form, contact us with inquiries, register for access to SMCB Services or use certain SMCB Services. Wherever SMCB collects Personal Data we make an effort to provide a link to this Privacy Policy.


By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data to SMCB, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of SMCB and the authorized third parties referred to herein located in the United States.


Additionally, when you interact with SMCB through the Site, we receive and store certain personally non-identifiable information. Such information, which is collected passively using various technologies, cannot presently be used to specifically identify you.   • Related Companies: We may also share your Personal Data with our Related Companies for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
  • Church Directory: SMCB, publishes your Personal Data to the online church directory and the mobile app.
  • Legal Requirements: Diocese may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Diocese, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.



SMCB does collect Personal Data such as Name, Date of Birth, and Sacrament Dates for children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not submit any Personal Data but inform your parents. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s information and instruct their children never to provide Personal Data without their permission.


Data Security:

SMCB takes reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data provided from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any Personal Data to.

COVID-19 Guidelines




  • Mandating masks across all of our church premises (including the main church, basement, rectory, common areas and parking lot).
  • There is no changes to the timings of the Qurbana or any limitations on the number of people who can attend.
  • We will be reverting back only to sharing packed food when possible and only if the situation demands.
  • Entry to church will be from Church Lobby and Exit will be through Vertical Lift Exit.
  • Apply hand sanitizer upon entering church/ rectory/ basement.


CCD / Sunday School Guidelines

  • If your child exhibits any COVID symptoms, please avoid sending them to class.
  • Follow your school’s recommendations for attending class. Example: If your child was a close contact / tested positive and asked to stay home, please follow the same for CCD.
  • If your child was identified as a close contact or tested positive for COVID, please notify your CCD teacher. We may need this information for contact tracing.
  • For classrooms where students can maintain 6 feet or more, snacks will be provided in the classroom.This is to minimize the number of children without masks, who are in contact with each other.


Staying Safe

  • Wear a mask to protect yourself and others and stop the spread of COVID-19.
  • Stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arm lengths) from others who don’t live with you.
  • Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces. The more people you are in contact with, the more likely you are to be exposed to COVID-19.
  • Get a COVID-19 vaccine when it’s available to you.
  • Clean your hands often, either with soap and water for 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean frequently touched objects and surfaces daily. If someone is sick or has tested positive for COVID-19, disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
  • Monitor your health daily

  • People who have a positive viral test for COVID-19, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms.
  • People with symptoms of COVID-19, including people who are awaiting test results or have not been tested. 
  • You can end isolation after 5 full days if you are fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and your other symptoms have improved. If symptoms persist beyond 5 days continue to isolate until symptom free for 24 hrs.
  • You should continue to wear a well-fitting mask for 5 additional days.


Close Contact


Fully vaccinated (completed all the approved doses) 

  • You do not need to be quarantined, but you should wear a mask around others for 10 days.
  • If you develop any symptoms, get a test and stay home. If not, test on day 5.


Not fully vaccinated (NOT completed all the approved doses)

  • You should stay at home for 5 days. After that, continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
  • If you develop any symptoms, get a test and stay home. If not, test on day 5.
